HWA Hi-End Brass & AOI Technology At HWA, we combine world-class metallurgy with next-generation digital inspection to deliver the highest EDM Brass wire on the market. Hi End Brass is our flagship, engineered for all EDM machines and especially recommended for Japanese equipment. AOI — 100% Digital Surface Certification HWA’s Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) is a real-time, 360° surface inspection system operating directly on high-speed production lines. Using a ring-camera architecture, AOI scans the full circumference of the wire line by line, detecting microscopic surface defects such as scratches, blisters, die marks, particles, and micro-dents.
